Pens are a great promotional product to invest in because everybody uses pens. They are useful to people, so they are always a welcome gift. Because of their size, they are small enough to fit in the posts and large enough to fit a decent-sized logo for marketing purposes. Some designs are also available in various colours, which could enhance your brand further.
Here are some of my favourite pens, perfect for letterbox marketing and to give away as promotional items.
The Hale Card Pen with Recyclable Plastic Trim – This is a great pen if you’re promoting eco messages as it uses less plastic than a regular pen, and the trim may be recycled. It is a great price too!

The Lagoon Pen – Another pen that has excellent eco credentials. The Lagoon pen is made of Recycled Water Bottles. It is an attractive push action ball pen in transparent colours with a great print area for your logo and branding.

The Bic Media Clic – This great promotional pen offers Bic’s renowned build print and writing quality at a budget price. It is an ideal pen for a barrel print, with space for further branding and your phone number or web address on the clip.

The Mole Mate Ballpen – This is an excellent value metal pen which comes in an extensive range of modern colours, so there is sure to be one to suit your corporate identity. With its satin, matte finish, this pen is very tactile and may be printed or engraved.

The Bic Superclip – this is another offering from Bic and is a bigger pen than the Media Clic – and the wide clip means it is ideal not only for a print on the clip, as well as on the barrel, but it is large enough to print a QR code successfully. You would then have a pen, which is not only a great writing instrument but also allows clients to access your digital offering – perfect for extra marketing goals.

The Bic Rollerball - I have used this pen to promote my own business for many years. It is a wonderful pen – one which is smart enough and a great writer to hold its own in any boardroom or sales meeting across the land. It is a very comfortable writing instrument, and though rollerballs are usually at a higher price because they are produced in a metal body, this is a quality plastic pen and, therefore at a cost-effective price. Offered in ‘serious’, as well as fun/bright colours!

The Bic 4-in-1 colour pen - This is another timeless pen from Bic. It had its 50th anniversary recently, and the pen that is sometimes seen being used in films or on TV from the 1970s is still very relevant today.
Whether it is for the medical or financial sector that needs different pen colours or you are looking for something a bit different, this could fit the bill. There are many versions, as well as the classic black, blue, red and green ink colours; there are versions with ‘fashion’ colours and even one with a pencil as one of the writing options.

The Parker Jotter – this last pen is yet another timeless classic, with a high-perceived value, which is much copied, but everyone loves a Parker pen!
