With so many different options when it comes to promotional Christmas gifts, how do you know what to choose?
At AG Products, I have an extensive selection of items you may wish to consider. At this time of year, there is often an expectation for promotional items to give that little bit extra; this could be extra special, extra comical, extra on-brand etc. Essentially, now is not the time to be sending out your standard branded pen (even though, we all know that pens make excellent giveaways).
When you’re selecting you promotional Christmas gift for your brand, there are several elements you may wish to consider.
Make sure they are useful – as with all promotional items, you should make sure you are choosing something useful. This will vary based on your target market. If your business works with children or parents of children, then something like colouring crayons or cuddly toys will be a good idea. If you’re a B2B company, then your clients might prefer a notebook or branded coasters. Think about your target market and what they would consider to be useful and go from there.
Consider a Christmas or winter theme – it may suit your brand to go for something with a real Christmas theme; maybe a Christmas hat or a tree decoration. However, sometimes this can come across in the wrong way, in which case, a winter or new year theme might be better; a wall calendar, an ice scraper, a winter hat etc. These products are perfect for gearing up for the new year but are a little more sensitive to those who may not enjoy or celebrate Christmas.
Use brand colours and logo – of course, with all branded products, it’s important to include your brand in some way in your promotional Christmas gifts. This could be through using your logo or selecting a particular colour theme.
Consider a letterbox campaign – Christmas cards may be dying out but that doesn’t mean you can’t spread some Christmas cheer through a letterbox campaign. I have a huge selection of items that will fit through a standard sized letterbox, in fact, through 2024 I have been running a letterbox campaign to talk about all of these items. Remember to make them universal – at Christmas time it can be easy to get carried away with what you like. Sending a client a bottle of wine or a tree decoration might seem like a lovely idea. However, there may be clients that don’t drink alcohol or don’t celebrate with a Christmas tree. It’s a good idea to make your promotional Christmas gifts universal, so everyone can enjoy them no matter what their preferences or beliefs are.
