Throughout 2024, I have been focusing on providing you with ideas to use for Letterbox marketing. Items that are the right size and practical to be posted through the letterbox of your target market.
As 2024 draws to a close, I thought revisiting each item from this year and giving an overview of letterbox marketing items that might suit your business would be fitting.
Here are my top letterbox marketing items for each month of 2024
January: Ice Scrapers -The colder mornings in January/February call for an ice scraper. These make great promotional products because they are literally in your clients' hands first thing in the morning or last thing at night, depending on when and how they travel. They are also super handy to have in the car. For many people, they are a necessity, so you know they will be appreciated.
February: Pens - Pens are useful to practically anyone in any walk of life. They are also suitable for all business types as promotional gifts. Pens are a great item for a letterbox campaign and make great giveaways on exhibition stands or within goody bags.
March: Coasters and Mouse Mats - These are an essential for any office based job or for those who use a computer to work from home. With either of these items you are kept on the desk of your clients – right in their eyeline; keeping you in the fore front of their mind when they come to making business decisions.
April: Branded Seeds - This one is a bit of a curve ball. There are so many different types of promotional items containing seeds that can be planted to grow plants, flowers, vegetables, and more. These are a great way to show the eco-friendliness you are trying to promote for your brand.
May: Travel Products - From passport holders to luggage tags, foldable bottles, and travel pillows, providing your clients with items they can use on their travels can be a great way to get a foot in the door. Around this time of year, these types of give-aways are usually the most successful, as people are booking their summer holidays or looking forward to the break.
June: Mobile Phone Accessories - Another product that appeals to the masses! Everyone has a mobile phone so providing some accessories can be a great option for a letterbox marketing campaign. Things like portable phone charges or phone holders can be used by anyone and may be more useful than you think.
July: Notebooks - Notebooks are another reliable promotional item perfect for a letterbox marketing campaign. There are many different options regarding size, colour, binding, material, etc.
August: Socks - Another option if you want to think more out-of-the-box. Branded socks aren’t always something you expect to receive, especially not through the post, but this can make them somewhat of a talking point, or at least something that sticks in their mind. With different colours, styles, and branding opportunities, socks are a promotional item that should be considered more often.
September: Hi Vis and Reflective Products - Hi Vis products make great giveaways in the autumn, ready for the darker winter evenings. I have hi vis items to appeal to all different age groups and keep people safe in darker evenings. Reflective key rings make great giveaways for school or youth groups. Because they are flat, they can be posted to users relatively cheaply.
October: Branded Headwear - As the colder months draw in, headwear can make a great letterbox marketing giveaway. With a range of types and styles to choose from, you’re bound to find something to suit your target market.
November: Beanies - Finally, in November, the last product I brought to you to bring to your clients' doors was beanie hats. These are small enough to fit through the letterbox, big enough to seem like a special gift, broad enough to be used by the masses but unique enough to set you apart from the crowd. They are the perfect winter giveaway.
